How to Order a Translation

Step 1 – Send us your documents
- Email a scanned copy of your document(s) to info@broadlingual.com and request a quote.
- Use a proper scanning app (e.g. Adobe Scan, Microsoft Lens). This ensures:
- The original appears clearly in your translation.
- Errors are avoided.
- Processing time and costs are kept to a minimum.

Step 2 – Choose your translation type
- Full Translation – Every detail from the original is translated. Common for IDs, driver’s licences, or any document where all content is required.
- Extract Translation – Only key information is translated. Often used for birth certificates, business licences, and similar documents.
- Summary Translation – A concise summary of multiple records, such as bank statements, to demonstrate financial capacity or earnings.

Step 3 – Provide term suggestions (optional)
If certain terms are important (e.g. for skill assessment), you may suggest translations.
Suggestions will be used only if they are accurate and faithful to the original.
No additions, omissions, or changes to meaning are allowed.
Example: We cannot translate Nurse as Registered Nurse.

Step 4 – Accept the quote
Review and accept the quote electronically.
Review and accept our service conditions.

Step 5 – Payment
- You will receive an invoice.
- All payments must be made upfront (unless we confirm otherwise).
- You can pay in two ways:
- Bank Transfer (details provided on the invoice)
- Credit Card Online (secure payment link provided on the invoice)
Important Notes
- DFAT & Court Translations
If your translation is for the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) or for use in an Australian court, please tell us before placing your order. These translations must follow strict NAATI formatting rules. If not advised in advance, your translation may be rejected. - Driver’s Licence Translations
